I *cannot wait* until this game comes out.

And yes, I'll probably end up running it. I've got a couple of ideas percolating through my head, but I think I'll need to wait for the book to firm them up.

My firmest ideas involve the characters all emerging from Faerie into the real world at the same time and place - a good way to get them to hang together at first, I think. And hopefully after a few shared adventures, they'll have developed enough of a bond to stay together.

I just hope I can find some way to play the character I have in mind....

If the previous track record wasn't so discouraging, I'd try doing a play-by-post game, because I'd *love* to play with you again.

As much as I'd love to play FtF with you, it'd have to be PbP... *sighs*

Sorry for popping by, but I was just reading random livejournals. Anyway.

I actually got the opportunity to play a demo of Changeling: the Lost at DexCon a couple of weeks ago and it was quite entertaining. The game involved a group of Changelings who all worked for the same Keeper and all escaped at the same time. So the motley dynamic was actually very easy to create and maintain.
But it was very entertaining. Changeling relations and the whole Fetch issue makes for an interesting game.

I believe we were the last group that played; in any event, I was in the group with the Keeper called the Marquis, and the whole thing about fighting Fetches down by the docks, getting drunk on Hedge wine and driving home, and hunting down our Fetches in their dorm apartments. My character was Jeff, the shadowy guy who looked like Iggy Pop and used to be a political activist college student turned receptionist and filer for the Marquis.
