I now have a copy of Changeling: The Lost!

I've been reading through it, and I thoroughly, thoroughly love it. I'm already bubbling over with ideas.

I'm going to have so much fun with this book!

Be very, very careful with it. The binding on mine is (ALREADY!) dying. The first thirty or so pages are now a separate booklet.

Hmmm...good thing lostsatyr and I also got the PDF. We figured that giving the players printouts of the character creation sections would save wear and tear on the book (as well as make things quicker); apparently it was a good idea. :)

Yeah, thing is, I didn't misuse or abuse my copy in any way. I didn't leave it in the sun, I didn't crack the spine open with my sheer manliness, I was just reading and then around page 150 or so, boom the first section of the book fell out. I was (and still am) a bit upset.

I've treated my copy with reverence, but it's showing no signs of breakage. The only White Wolf book that did that too me was Dark Ages: Vampire. I couldn't open the darn thing without the brittle ink going to a million pieces. I think it depends on which batch your book was in. :)

You didn't, but now I know it's not just me. I'll see about contacting WW and ask if they'll do a replacement or if it's more a "ha-ha no, sucker!" sorta thing.

You should ask! I hear they are making a second printing with some errata corrected and added material. You should see if you can get one of the C:tL 2.0 printings.

I know exactly how you feel about the "My precious" aspect of having the book. :)

My binding is still ok, but giving out PDFs is a great idea!
