I had a fantastic time! I got to see some old friends, run some games, and try out some new ones. It's terrific to have a gaming-focused con to attend again.
My games had some really great players in them this con - they worked together and were pleasant both in and out of character. Gaming with those folks was a lot of fun;
lostsatyr and I stayed up talking about the fun we'd had after we got home. :)
I got to try out Faery's Tale for the first time (thanks to
tamminnanny), and had a great time; his Airship Pirates game was great as always.
Having people pay ahead for admission and event tickets was a very good idea; it gives people more of an incentive to show up, and also keeps attendees from overbooking themselves.
I also really like the "con bucks" GM compensation plan (for every player a GM had, they got a token worth one dollar to spend at the vendor tables); I wonder if UBCon could do the same sort of thing?
All in all, a great con! I hope it's the first of many!

Sub Board I has rules that SARPA has to follow, so unless SARPA manages a large "petty cash" to reimburse from, the logistics might be a headache. Might also tank events for Sunday, since the Dealer's Room closes and packs up before the events end. Who'd want to run when the Con Bucks would end up worthless? Did the vendor area stay open past the last events at QCC?
(I know at UberCon, the vendors didn't pack up until the Con ended. I-Con gaming lasted up to and even past when the Dealer's room closed, but not many that weren't demos or tourneys. I mention them only as examples of other Cons I know and how their gaming to dealer area functions.)

I know that the table with the QCC merchandise was still open post-con, because I bought a QCC die just before I left. :)
