I really despise the double standard that some of my (male) players have exhibited in the past, that lets them crack dirty jokes, carry around pornographic playing cards and the like, but, goddess forbid, if *I* happen to play a *woman* who's open about her sexuality, they run away screaming.
"Nice" girls don't do that sort of thing? Then maybe I'm not, nor do I ever want to be, a "nice" girl. So there.

Date: 2004-01-09 07:51 am (UTC)From:I still get some razzing in my TT Werewolf game because my character decided to avail herself of the cute kinfolk guys at the last gathering. I'm like, "And why is this not an issue for PC A, and PC B, both of whom have had sex off-camera in the game?"

Date: 2004-02-05 04:34 pm (UTC)From:You do know the difference between a good girl and a nice girl, right?
The Nice girl goes to the party, goes home, goes to bed.
The Good girl goes to the party, goes to bed, goes home.
And the Gentleman is the guy who would never dream of speculating on whether a given girl is good or nice :) (Okay, that part is mine.)
But yeah, if the guys are gonna be going off to get laid, what do they expect the girls to do? Sit around and crochet?
