It occurred to me this morning that my mind is overflowing with WoD trivia. I can't discuss city politics worth a damn sometimes, but I can give you the clan Disciplines for every one of the seven clans of the Camarilla with no problem (Brujah -- Celerity, Potence and Presence; Gangrel -- Animalism, Fortitude and Protean; Malkavian -- Auspex, Dominate [or Demetation if you're using the 2nd ed Sabbat or Revised rules] and Obfuscate; Nosferatu -- Animalism, Obfuscate and Potence; Toreador -- Auspex, Celerity and Presence; Tremere -- Auspex, Dominate and Thaumaturgy; Ventrue -- Dominate, Fortitude and Presence).

I am such a dork. :)

I've heard "Kee-ah-shee" and "Kee-ah-sid."

And then there's Tzimisce. I think the preferred one is "Shim-iss-ee," though I've also heard "Shah-mah-see" and "Shah-MEE-see."

I do know Aidan & Valla (of rowan_academy, for those who don't play in that game)'s House is properly pronounced "Sky-ah."

Of course, there was the guy who ran a WoD game at Open Gaming a while back, who talked about taking "Sabot" characters. My response was, "Where are the rules for playing a wooden shoe in the World of Darkness?" ;-)

I prefer the first pronounciation, myself. Syd corresponding to sid as in an elf mound. Or as in the first part of sidhe.

And somehow, I always thought it was "Sca-thay." Well, at least it wasn't coming out "Skath-ack."
