Apparently a player in one of my games has decided that "artistic license" equals "misrepresentation of the facts for purposes of self-aggrandizement."
Nota bene: Do not try to "embellish" events that occured in a session that the GM you're sending an account of those events to ran. It makes you look pretty silly. ;-)
